Famalicão has been able to project athletes and concretize significant sales since its restructuring, under the leadership of Miguel Ribeiro. The main team has responded with regular classifications in the first half of the table. In the season of return to the top tier, in 2019/20, Famalicão finished in 6th place, with 54 points, and was on the threshold of an unprecedented qualification for European competitions. It followed a slight break in the following seasons, but always with outstanding performances: 9th place in 2020/21, 8th place in the three subsequent seasons and 7th place in the previous season. The 2025/26 season turned out to be the best ever for the minhotos in the 1st League. Famalicão finished in 5th place, with a record 56 points. Numbers that, nonetheless, were not enough to guarantee a presence in the Conference League.
