The Praça-Mercado Municipal in Famalicão will be the stage for a Fan Zone during the FIFA World Cup, which takes place from June 11 to July 19. The initiative will feature live transmission of all games starting until 01h30, turning the space into a meeting point for fans of all ages. The attention will naturally be focused on the Portuguese national team, which will start its journey in the group stage on June 17, facing the Congo in a match scheduled for 18h00. The next match will be against Uzbekistan on June 23, also at 18h00. The third round will reserve a night of strong emotions, with Portugal facing Colombia on June 28 at 00h30. Between flags, scarves, and moments of shared nervousness, the Praça-Mercado Municipal promises to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of international big stages, with the goal of supporting the team of the quinas towards the dream of the World Cup. During these days, the space will also have the support of a bar service operating until 23h00, during the week, and until 01h00, on weekends. The municipality also informs that, from midnight and in the presence of little public in the Fan Zone of the Square, the space may close earlier. It is also worth noting that, regardless of the schedule of Portugal's matches, all esplanades in the municipality will have a license to be open during the national team's games.
