The two armed robbers of Famalicão, detained by the Braga Police Judiciária, were released on bail on Wednesday, with the measures of coercion of periodic appearances every three weeks, at the police stations of their areas of residence. The two suspects are still prohibited from contacting the victims and witnesses of the two armed robberies, in Famalicão, for which they are indicted, as determined by the judge of the Guimarães Comarca this afternoon. Both were detained by the PJ, for the alleged authorship of two armed robberies, committed in the morning of March 12, 2026, in both cases with the threat of razors against three victims, in Vila Nova de Famalicão. The first robbery occurred around 07:00, when the victim was preparing to go to work, after leaving his daughter at a nursery, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, being forced to withdraw 20 euros, the only money he had in the ATM. Meanwhile, an hour later, the two robbers, kidnapped two young people, forcing them to walk with them in a car, after which they stole the only coins they had at the time, immediately fleeing, both to an uncertain destination. They are indicted for the alleged authorship of three crimes of robbery and kidnapping, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, both suspects, being the two connected to the underworld of drugs, having some police references for such crimes.
