FC Famalicão is continuing its preparations for the 2026/2027 season and is close to securing the signing of Tamás Szucs, a young Hungarian midfielder aged 21 who currently plays for Debrecen. According to national sports media, the player's contract with Debrecen, valid until 2029, should not pose an obstacle to the completion of the deal. Szucs's transfer is expected to involve an investment of around 1.5 million euros from the Famalicão club. In the last two seasons, between 2024 and 2026, the player participated in 62 official matches, scoring six goals and providing three assists. In addition to his club performance, Tamás Szucs also made significant strides in his international career, debuting for the Hungary national team in March this year, already accumulating four caps in friendly matches. Famalicão hopes that this signing can have a positive impact on the team in the upcoming season.
